Gaucho Barbed Wire

Gaucho® is made from high tensile steel wire, so it’s 1/3rd lighter with the same linear strength. No stretching is required and it’s precision wound, meaning easier installation. It has an unique reverse twist which prevents sagging and allows you to space your posts further apart.

It’s more than double the galvanized coating (Class III), lasting 2-3 times longer than standard barbed wire (Class I).

Cattle Pro 14 ga  Barbed Wire

A higher steel content makes High Tensile Cattleman® Pro 14g Barbed Wire stronger, lighter, more durable fencing product than traditional barbed wire. Bekaert offers Low Carbon 12.5g Classic Barbed Wire for fencing applications.

The lower carbon content of our Low Carbon 12.5g Classic Barbed Wire (0.06-0.08% versus 0.28% on our high tensile products) means the wire is more pliable and easier to work with. However, pliability means it can be prone to sagging and elongation, it requires periodic tensioning and maintenance.

Our Low Carbon 12.5g Classic Barbed Wire products come with Class 3,  and  meet or exceed the following:

Red Brand® Barbed Wire is made of galvanized steel to endure the tests of time and weather. It is an ideal long-term solution for fencing cattle.

Available in 5 different styles:

• Ruthless®
  4-point barb style, 12-1/2 gauge, Class 1 or 3 galvanized construction, 5″ barb spacing. Designed to confine the largest animals on the ranch.
• Defender®
  2-point barb style, 12-1/2 gauge, Class 1 galvanized construction.
• Savage®
  4-point barb style, 13-1/2 gauge, Class 1 galvanized construction. Same features as Ruthless®, but in an economical lighter gauge.
• High Tensile 4-point or 2-point barb style, 15-1/2 gauge, Class 3 galvanized construction. Easier to handle, making fence installation more convenient.
• Sierra 2-point and 4-point economy barbed wire, 12-3/4 gauge, commercial galvanized coating. 4″ and 5″ spacing.
• Barbless cable – doubled-strand  twisted 12 -1/2 gauge  wire, class 1 galvanized.  Perfect for horse or cattle fencing fills. Use where barbed wire is not appropriate, but more strength than single-strand wire is required. Can also be electrified when security fencing is required.
